Good luck to our boys basketball team tonight as they play Calvary Christian for the championship of the Calvary Christian Turkey Tournament!

First graders in Miss McKeon’s class worked in groups to disguise a turkey. They had up to $10 they could spend to come up with as many different combinations of disguises as they could to save the turkey. This was a great way for students to be creative and collaborate during math!

Kindergarten students celebrated Thanksgiving with two big events today - our Balloons Over Broadway parade and our Favorite Food and Friendship Feast! We are thankful for the third grade classes who helped us create our balloon floats. We are also thankful for the friendships we have made this year. Happy Thanksgiving break, Blue Ridge families!

Dear BRIJHS Families,
We are deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Cindy Knerr, our Purple route driver. In her short time at Blue Ridge, Cindy made fast friends with staff and her riders.
We will have counselors and social workers ready to support however needed.
Please keep Cindy's family in your thoughts and prayers and I know that the Transportation Department would appreciate your kind thoughts as well.

The high school cheerleaders continued their monthly team bonding yesterday at the Trojan Cheer Invitational in Charleston. They went to watch and support surrounding high school competition teams. Go Knights!

At the 11th annual class A Mike Hendricks memorial tourney the knights went 5-2 on the day to capture 3rd place overall out of 8 teams competing. The knights defeated Nokomis, North Mac, Warrensburg-Latham, Tri-Point and Heritage and lost two very close matches to Henry and Roanoke-Benson. Congrats to Indra Nolan for being the tourneys 2nd top scorer. Helping with the tournament were former scholastic bowl players: Tyler Maxwell (19' 2nd team all-state), AJ Johnson, 2024 2nd team all state and Sami Boogren, 2022. 2nd team all state

There is a short turn-around time of next week for all sales. The class thanks you!
