At the end of 4th hour this week and next week will be the club yearbook pictures.  Please be listening for the pictures announcements.

TODAY at lunch in Mr. Scurlock’s room is a Stem Club meeting.  All members please attend to discuss interest for a possible field trip!

Attention Juniors: There is a Prom Committee meeting in Mrs. Lagle's room today at lunch.

 

Seniors: Yearbook needs 2 baby pics (up to the age of 2), 2 growing up pics (2-18) and 2 senior pics by Apr. 15.  If you need Ms. T to take a picture of you for the yearbook, see her by Monday, Apr. 10th.  The absolute last day pics can be taken by yearbook is May 1. 

 

The Farmer City Garden Club is looking for volunteers to help on Main Street and the City Park downtown on Saturday, 4/15 at 9am!  If any clubs are looking for a project, they sure would appreciate the help!

 

The next Student Council meeting is Tuesday, April 18th.  Election of officers for next school year will take place.  If you wish to run for an office, please let Mrs. Hardesty or Mrs. Diener know.  Also on the agenda will be Homecoming themes for the fall.

 

Prom T-Shirt order forms are available in the office or from Mrs. Lagle.  The cost is $15. Money and orders are due by Thursday, April 20.  Turn into the office or Mrs. Lagle. 

 

Prom and Post Prom tickets will be sold during lunch in the Commons starting Monday, April 17- Friday April 28th.  Prom tickets are $20 each and Post Prom tickets are $10 each.  Please make sure that you and your date pay for tickets at the same time!  If you are not here during lunch, please see Mrs. Lagle.  Tickets must be purchased in advance!

 

Thrive is hosting a Spring Fest on April 28th out on the Football field from 4 - 6 pm. All high school students are welcome to attend. There will be lawn games, tie dye, ice cream, and snacks! find a flyer in the school and scan the QR code to sign up or see Mr. Minteer or Mrs. Ringel for more information. 

 

Yearbooks are on sale until May 25 for $55.  This is your last chance to order!

Tuesday night FFA members on the Parliamentary Procedure and Conduct of Chapter Teams competed in the District 4 Event. The Parliamentary Procedure team was 4th overall with Lillian Enger placing 5th overall chair and Gracie Shaffer placing 7th overall floor member. Other team members include Rachel Light, Brenna Friel, Lori Weiss, and Sydney Rausch.

 

The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team placed 1st overall and qualified for State for the 3rd year in a row. Carmen Ellis was 1st overall Chair, Payton Heiser was 3rd overall Floor member, Mercedes Manual placed 4th overall floor member and Indra Nolan placed 10th overall floor member. Other team members included Ava Paullin, Jasmine Petmecky, and Kelly Weiss. We wish these members luck as they compete at State on May 4th.

 

On Tuesday at PBL Alexis Wike took firsts in the 100, 200 and HJ.  Phoebe Reynolds placed first in the TJ while Anna Place also took first in the 3200.  Alexis Winstead and Alissa Edwards both PR'd in 300IH.  All in all the lady knights capture a close 2nd place out of 5 teams competing.  Go Knights! 

Tonight the Boys and Girls Track team will be competing @ Tri-Valley @ 4pm.  Please dismiss the teams at 2:30 with the bus scheduled to leave at 2:45.

The Lady Knights Softball team has a HOME game tonight @ 4:30 at Weedman Park.
