There will be a Key Club meeting today in the library during lunch.

Blue Ridge Homecoming week is Sept. 25-Sept. 30th.  The Homecoming theme for this school year is: Rewind 2000's.  Voting for the Homecoming Court will begin on Monday, Sept. 11 during English classes.  Sign-ups for the dance will begin Thursday, Sept. 21 during lunch in the Commons.  The Homecoming Dance will be Sept. 30th from 7-9pm in the Moore Gym. 

If you need a guest form, please see Mrs. Raines in the office. 

The varsity volleyball team lost to Sullivan last night in two with scores of 19-25; 21-25.  Leading the Knights were Phoebe Reynolds with 6 kills and 9 digs; Alissa Edwards with 8 assists and Ava Hammer with 8 digs.  The JV team also lost in 2 with scores of 18-25 and 13-25.

The Knight Buddy program for this school year is starting! Ms. Clayton posted the application on the counseling Google Classroom pages. The application is due September 13th. Please reach out to Ms. Clayton if you have any questions!

"Are you interested in fun and adventure? Come check out the Dungeons and Dragons club! We'll have an info meeting today from 3:30 - 4:30 pm in Mr. Minteer's room. If you can't attend, fill out the survey using the QR code by one of the posters in the school. Hope to see you there, adventurer!"

Wednesday, September 13th at 6:30 pm is the FFA Night Cookout and Potluck at the HS. All Ag Students in 8th-12th grade and parents are invited to attend. FFA will provide drinks, chips, hotdogs, and hamburgers. Learn about the numerous opportunities FFA offers.

Anyone interested in a highly competitive academic question and answer team stop by the chem lab during lunch for a scholastic bowl informational meeting on Thursday September 28th. 

There will be a Student Council meeting every Tuesday beginning on Sept. 5 until Sept. 19 during lunch in the HS Library to finalize Homecoming plans. Class officers and Student Council officers please plan on attending.

We'll meet on Thursday at lunch in Mr. Minteer's room. Lunch will be provided!  Don't just get through your day, try to Thrive! "

The Haunted Forest will be October 13th & 14th and October 20th & 21st (Rain date weekend October 27th & 28th).  Volunteer opportunities include: Pumpkin carving Monday, October 9th - Wednesday, October 11th from 6:30-8:30 at South Park.  Friday and Saturday Event Volunteers are needed for: Line attendants, Event Guides, Loading/Unloading the hayrack, Setup/Clean up, and more.  Saturday October 14th and October 21st from 2:00-7:00 pm Matinee Volunteers are needed for set up, games, barrel train, and clean-up.
