ALL Library books are due TOMORROW!  Please return them to the library or you’ll be charged for the book.

Don’t forget to order your school yearbooks!  They are on sale now for $55 each.  Go to  www.jostensyearbooks.com or bring a check made out to BRHS yearbook for $55.The last day to order the yearbooks will be on May 17th! They will be in after school starts in the fall.

 

Student Council members, please remember to report to Schneider after 6th hour TODAY and sign out in the office.  The Kindergartner’s May Mother’s day flowers is what you’ll be helping with!

 

This year's Prom theme is Masquerade Ball.  Prom picture forms are in the office and in Ms. Lagle's room. Saturday is the big day with Promenade and Coronation at 5:00 in the big gym.  Prom is at Woodlawn Country Club from 8-11 pm and Post Prom is at BRHS from 11:00 pm - 2:00 am.   For Promenade, students are to park in front of the school or in the North parking lot Faculty parking area and enter through the circle drive entrance.  The public needs to park BEHIND the school and enter through the back door by the gym.  Students should arrive between 4:15-4:30 to take pictures outside.  Then go to the Commons at 4:45 to line up for Promenade.  Thank you to everyone who is helping make this awesome event happen!  We still need some help in some other areas. Please continue to sign up on the Sign Up Genius link posted yesterday.

 

It's that time of year for Color Guard auditions. Anyone interested in being a part of our competitive color guard performing with the marching band at home games and competitions should come to our clinics and auditions. Clinics are May 15th and 17th from 4-5 pm and auditions are May 20th starting at 4pm. Wear comfortable school-appropriate attire you can move in and zero experience is necessary. We teach everything you need to know. For more information see any member currently in the color guard or Ms. Meisner in the Ag Room.

 

Prom picture forms are in the office or in Ms. Lagle's room.  The Promenade order has been posted.  Please let Ms. Lagle know if changes need to be made.

If you are interested in playing volleyball in the summer, please come to the office and sign up so we know how many we’ll have for summer league.

 

A Volleyball lunch meeting will be held Monday, 5/13th in the library with the new Volleyball coach, Ms. Heckman for anyone interested in playing volleyball on Monday, May 13th in the library.

 

There will be a THRIVE meeting TODAY in Mrs. Ramirez’s room (the art room)!  Lunch will be provided.  Why just get through your day when you can THRIVE!

There will be a Dungeons and Dragons meeting TODAY in Mr. Minteer's room from 3:30 - 5:00 pm. This is for Minteer's current group but new members are welcome!

 

The Miss Farmer City Dewitt County Queen pageant applications closes on May 16th.  If you are a young woman and interested in competing in July at the fair, please see Ms. Meisner in the Ag room.  Just a reminder, the scholarship for the queen is a $1,000 to win!

Color Guard try-outs will be held on May 15 from 4-5pm,May 17th from 4-5pm and May 20th from 4-6pm.  If you’d be interested, please let Ms. Meisner know!

 

Tryout practice for Football Cheer will be held May 21, 22 and 23 from 4-6pm in the New Gym and tryouts will be held on Friday, May 24 at 9 am.

 

Girls Track sectionals TODAY will be at EPG at 3:30 and the team should be released at 2:35 for the meet.  Good luck Lady Knights!

 

Varsity Baseball TONIGHT will be at Cerro Gordo-Bement at 4:30 with a bus time of 2:35 for the athletes.
