IT’S HOMECOMING WEEK!

Class scoring totals so far:  Seniors with 15 points, Juniors with 12 points, Sophomores with 18 points and Freshman with 6 points.  Keep up the great work everyone!  Who’s going to win the 2024 Homecoming Spirit award?  Stay tuned!

 

Sign ups for the pep assembly games on Friday will be today and tomorrow, so find a cheerleader during lunch to get signed up!  Be sure to get those teams together to get those last minute class points to secure the SPIRIT STICK!

 

The Homecoming guest dance form is available in the office.  Forms are due back on Wednesday!  The Homecoming dance will be on Saturday, 9/21 from 7-9pm in the old gym.  Dance sign ups will be in the office during the day and before and after school today through Friday.  Cost is $3 single and $5 a couple.  You can also pay at the admission table on Saturday but if you are bringing a date, all guest paperwork needs turned in and approved on Friday!!

 

The Homecoming parade is tomorrow, Wednesday, 9/18.  Lineup is at 5pm with the parade starting at 6pm at the high school and ending up on the square on Main Street.

The Homecoming court will be announced during halftime on Friday night of the game, after the band performs and the Homecoming floats will be displayed during the football game on the south end of the football field.

 

All week this week at the end of lunch, we need all students in each class to gather in the new gym for a class count of those dressing up days for class participation points!

There is a STEM Club meeting on Wednesday 9/18 at lunch in Mrs. Schriefer's room.

 

Be a part of Knight Buddies program!  See Ms. Clayton or the office for all the details.  Knight Buddies is a tradition here at the high school.  It only takes a weekly visit to a matched Schneider student to make all the difference in their lives.

 

Now that you have your student id’s, please use them in the cafeteria.  It makes getting through the lunch line much quicker.  A little trick is to take a picture of your ID and the lunch ladies can also scan that.

 

The boys golf team played at home last night against Heyworth and Cornerstone and came away with a win.  Gavin Friel and Caden Kimball tied for 1st place with a score of 40.  Helping clinch the win was Preston Jiles with a score of 46.  Way to go!!

The Girls Golf team should be released today at 11:55 for their match in LeRoy and the Boys have a Golf match in Saybrook and should be released at 11:30 today

There is a Varsity only girls Volleyball game tonight at HOME vs. Tri-County at 6pm

Scholastic Bowl meeting will be held on Friday, October 4th during lunch in Mr. Scurlock’s room.
