for October 15th
Good morning, it’s time for the daily announcements!
There is a Student Council meeting today in the library during lunch. If you would like hot lunch, please let Mrs. Hardesty know and we’ll have it brought over.
Herff Jones will be at the high school for a parent order event on Oct. 17th from 3-6pm. Freshman or Senior parents can come and ask questions before ordering Freshman items or Senior graduation items and also place any orders.
Attention Seniors! Please come to the office to approve the spelling of your name on your diploma!
Midwest Technical Institute will be here Friday 10/18, during 4th hour! This visit is great for anyone thinking about pursuing a career in the trades! Please request a pass from Ms. Hieronymus or Ms.Clayton if you would like to attend!
Basketball Cheer tryouts will start TONIGHT and Thursday, October 17th from 3:15-4:15 and again on Monday, October 21st from 5:30-6:30. Tryouts will be on Tuesday, October 22nd starting at 3:30. Flyers are posted around the school with the dates.
Halloween fun is coming to the library the next 2 Fridays, Oct. 18th & 25th. We'll be making pinecone spiders, painting pumpkins, watching scary stories on the big screen, and we might even have some candy. Bring your lunch and have some fun.
The STEM Club is planning their “Spooktacular” event on Friday, October 25th from 4:30 – 7:30 at the high school. More to come soon!
Congratulations to the BRHS Band for winning their division on Saturday at the EIU competition.
Thank you to everyone who came out to the football game on Friday night’s Pink Out” game and supported the Knights! Our last home game is this Friday vs. Metro East at 6:30pm.
TODAY starts Soccer Regionals at Calvary Christian in Normal. Game time is 4:30pm. Bus time is 2:55pm. Please dismiss from class at 2:40pm. Good luck Knights!
