Seniors!  Remember to come to the office to approve the spelling of your name for your graduation diploma!

There will be no driving today in Mr. Duke’s classes.

 

We're continuing the Halloween fun in the library TODAY!  You can still make pinecone spiders, paint pumpkins, watch scary stories, and snack on candy.  Sign up in the library if you want your lunch brought over.   

 

The STEM Club is planning their “Spooktacular” event TONIGHT from 4:30pm – 7:30pm here at the high school. $5 admission for all!

 

The September Athletes of the Month were Ben Clevenger for Soccer, Ariahna Miller-Brown Cheer, Landon Slade for Football, Lexi Winstead for Girls Golf and Boys Golf was Preston Jiles.  Congratulations to you all!

 

Congratulations to the following students for being the Exemplary Knights representing the high school at the October board meeting.   Erin Bozarth and Devin Wrestler and from the staff Jillayna Skinner!

 

Next Thursday is Halloween!  The Student Council is having a costume contest on that day in the new gym!  The categories are:

1)      Individuals

2)      Groups of 2 people

3)      Groups of over 3 people

4)      Teachers

There will be prizes for 1st and 2nd places in each category.

Be creative and have fun!  Happy Halloween!

 

Be sure and get your reservations in for the annual Dinner Theatre performances on Nov. 1st, 2nd and 3rd.  The play is called “Murder at the Art Show”. Call the office at 309-928-2622 for reservations.  Dinner is at 6pm and show at 7pm on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 and 1pm lunch and 2pm show on Nov. 3rd at Schneider cafeteria.

 

On Saturday, the Marching Band travels to the U of I Marching competition in Memorial Stadium then heads to Oblong, IL for their competition and parade.  Good Luck Band!

 

Also Saturday the high school football team travels to Martinsville for a game at 2pm with bus time at 11:15am.  Good Luck Knights!
