Good morning!

Seniors: please email your senior graduation pictures for the graduation slideshow to Mrs. Schriefer as soon as possible.  The yearbook committee will need 2 pictures of your baby years, 2 middle/teen years and 2 senior pictures. The email address is: lschriefer@blueridge18.org

Auditions for the spring play will be tomorrow (Tuesday) in the library from 3:45-6:00. No experience is needed! All are welcome! This is the place to be whether you are interested in acting onstage or being involved backstage running lights or sound, being on stage crew, or helping with hair, makeup or costumes!  If you have questions or can’t make it but want to be involved, talk to Ms. Yeagle or email her at syeagle@blueridge18.org

All boys interested in Track & Field this spring please check in with Coach Kramer to be added to the roster and SportsYou.  Testing for the upcoming season to determine workouts will begin TODAY after school in the weight room.  Please see Coach Kramer for concerns or questions.

Guest forms for the Valentine Dance on February 15th are available in the office and are due back next Monday, Feb. 10th

Signups for the Valentine dance will be next week, Tuesday, Feb. 4th thru Friday, Feb. 7th during lunch.  Entry fee is $3 for single admission and $5 for couple.

Signups for “Crush for your Crush” will start this Tomorrow thru Thursday.  Purchase a can of “Crush” soda for your CRUSH for $2 and we’ll deliver it on Thursday, February 13th with a handwritten note.  The $2 must be paid for in advance to deliver the product.  This is a fundraiser for Homecoming activities next fall.

There will be a Bass Fishing meeting in the library this Wednesday, February 5th for anyone interested in the Bass Fishing club.  Coach Williamson will be here to sign you up!

Congratulations to Junior Erin Bozarth with her Special Olympics team!  They took gold in sectionals this past weekend in Trenton.  They won both of their games (game 1 was 60-21 and game 2 66-10) securing their spot for the state championship game to be held March 7 & 8 at ISU.  Erin scored 24 points in the first game and 28 points in the second game!    Way to go Erin! 

Congrats to the varsity scholastic bowl team for placing 4th out of 12 teams at the highly competitive Winnebago Invite on Saturday defeating Galena, Byron, Keith B, Chicago Leo among others.  Congrats to Indra Nolan for being the tourney's 5th top scorer of the tourney with 39 toss-ups.  Also contributing on the buzzer was Elias Nolan with 18 toss-ups followed by Ivy Whitehouse with 13, Apollo Gannaway with 6, Broden Soliday with 5 and Ellie Schlieper with numerous bonus parts. 

The Lady Knights play at Cerro Gordo tonight at 6pm.  Bus time is 4:30pm  Good Luck Knights!
