for February 13th   

Good morning!

Seniors: please email your senior graduation pictures for the graduation slideshow to Mrs. Schriefer as soon as possible.  The yearbook committee will need 2 pictures of your baby years, 2 middle/teen years and 2 senior pictures. The email address is: lschriefer@blueridge18.org

All course requests for next year should be turned in by Friday. 

This week FFA will be selling beads during lunch for their Rock Paper Scissors game that will be held next Wednesday during FFA Week. $1 for 4 beads will get you into the game and you have to have beads in order to be eligible to play. The points you accumulate from the beads earn you points into the drawing for a gift card and the winner of the game will receive a prize. This week is the only week you can sign up to reserve your beads. Necklaces will be ready to pick up after school on Tuesday or before 1st hour Wednesday next week. 

 

Next week is the week we look forward to all year…. National FFA week!

There is no school on Monday.

Tuesday is the Teacher and FFA member cookout and FFA Pep assembly.  Dress theme for the Tuesday is Country vs. Country Club day.

Wednesday is Rock, Paper Scissors Contest with Popcorn at lunch

Thursday is school-wide college and career fair, FFA Duck scavenger hunt and dress theme will be College/Career.  If you come to the College and Career fair you receive a ticket to the FFA Barnyard on Friday!

Friday is the FFA Barnyard and Drive your Tractor to school day!  Even if you are not in Ag or FFA, you can bring your tractor to school for $10 donation.  Forms are in the office to participate.  Dress theme for Friday will be Blue & Gold.

 

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, Feb 26th at 4 pm Lily Enger will have a college signing to continue her education and play golf at Milliken College at 4pm in the HS Commons. Everyone is welcome to join in and attend and congratulate her!

 

The FFA Section 16 Proficiencies has been moved to February 19th at Maroa-Forsyth high school.

Friday is a home basketball game vs. Heritage starting at 5:30pm.  It’s senior night and we’ll also be celebrating Isaac Price’s 1000th career points at BRHS.  Dress theme is Pink vs. Red.  Come on out and have some fun!

There is no school on Friday or Monday!
