Good morning!
Seniors: please email your senior graduation pictures for the graduation slideshow to Mrs. Schriefer as soon as possible. The yearbook committee will need 2 pictures of your baby years, 2 middle/teen years and 2 senior pictures. The email address is: lschriefer@blueridge18.org
TODAY’s dress up is Dress like an officer station. Each officer has a symbol that represents their position- see the video on the Blue Ridge Instagram for ideas, talk to an officer, or see the positions on the posters down the ag hallway. There is even a poster with ideas! Tomorrow is also the rock, paper, scissors contest- TODAY is the last day you can purchase beads to participate!
This week is FFA Week where we celebrate the members of the National FFA Organization.
During lunch we will mark down everyone who dressed up for points this week. You get double points for participating in the Assembly.
Each day we will do a Trivia Question- email blueridgeffa@blueridge18.org with the correct answer. First one to email wins! Yesterday’s answer is National Blue and Corn Gold and Lexi Winstead was the first to respond!
Today's question is: What are the five FFA Degrees? For extra points include the names of the 4 Blue Ridge FFA candidates who are recommended to earn the highest degree Illinois has to offer?
Tomorrow- Thursday- is the college and career fair with the dress up being College and Career theme! We also have our Duck, Duck, FFA Scavenger hunt! You must attend and fully complete the handout to earn a ticket to the FFA Barnyard. For the Duck, Duck, FFA event there will be mini ducks hiding around the school. Teachers who have agreed to have ducks hidden are marked with a duck with their name on it, booths at the college and career fair willing to participate will also have a duck on their table. Find 3 ducks that spell out FFA and win a prize!
TODAY will be an all member STEM CLUB meeting happening at lunch in Mr. Scurlock's room to discuss the upcoming teen teach program.
Make sure you sign up to bring your tractor or truck to school on Friday! Forms are in the office. Cost is $10 if you are not in an ag class or FFA.
