The City of Farmer City will be offering a lifeguard class at the Clinton YMCA March 21st to the 23rd.  This will be the only class we are offering so far.  There are no upfront costs required and your certification is 100% paid by the city with a signed agreement to work.  You must be a strong swimmer and at least 15 years of age.  If interested, please come to the office.  We have additional information for you.

Yesterday FFA Members traveled to Mt. Zion High School to compete in the District 4 Proficiency Interviews. These interviews are based on the record books FFA members keep on Ag-based projects. High School students who competed included Presley Hardesty in Agricultural Education, Tyler Holtz in Diversified Crop Production, Ava Paullin in Wildlife Management and Production, and Kaydance Wooton in Outdoor Recreation. Ava, Kaydance, and 8th grader Bentley will be advancing to State on March 22nd. Congratulations! A huge thank you also goes out to Carmen Ellis and Rachel Light for their work at the event assisting in making the evening go smoothly.

Congrats to Isaac Price for being selected to the BBB LPC 1st team!  Isaac was only one of two players selected unanimously by all coaches.  Congrats to Wesley Clark for being selected to the BBB LPC Honorable Mention team.  Way to go to both Isaac and Wesley.  Go Knights boys basketball!
