Seniors: please email your senior graduation pictures for the graduation slideshow to Mrs. Schriefer before May 1st.. 

 

Have you thought about representing your home county at the Illinois County Fairs?  If  you are a female, age 16 or older you can apply for the Farmer City/Dewitt County fair queen pageant.  The 2024 queen will be here this Friday during lunch to answer any questions you may have about running for queen!  Stop in and see her.

 

Prom is Saturday, May 3rd and guest forms are due back this Friday, April 11th .  Prom ticket sales will begin next Monday, April 14th during lunch thru April 30th.  No tickets will be sold at the door, so purchase them early. Tickets are $20 for Prom and $10 for post-prom. 

The spring play, Shakespeare Makes Me Happy, is this Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are only $5 for students and $8 for general admission. No reservations are needed. Don’t miss this amazing production! There’s something for everyone, even if Shakespeare really, really doesn’t make you happy! Sword fights, murder, witchcraft, true love, cross-dressing, ghosts, shipwrecks, and more - what’s not to love?

The Boys track & field team traveled to Arthur Tuesday for a Quad meet.  The team took 3rd place with some standout performances from several athletes including: Nils Pfaff in the high jump with a PR winning jump of 1.77m, Chase Ellis won the 100m and 200m, and the 4x100m relay turned in a PR performance to also take 1st place at 47.5s.  Congrats to all the athletes that turned in personal record or season record performance.  GO Knights!

On Tuesday at the Arthur quad the lady knights track and field team placed 2nd out of 4 teams competing.  Jasmine Petmecky and Indra Nolan placed 1st and 2nd in the 3200.  Ariahna Miller-Brown placed 1st in the 100 and 2nd in the 200 and 400 races respectively.  Ava Hammer placed 2nd in the 300IH with a PR time.  The 4x100, 4x200 and 4x800 teams all PR´d as well.  Indra Nolan PR´d in the shot and disc while Addison Hinthorn also PR´d in the shot out.  It was a long meet but the girls track and field team did well.  Go Knights!
