for Monday, October 17th
The Snack Shack will be closed temporarily Monday and Tuesday, re-opening on Wednesday.
Any FFA member that wants to help with Trick or Treat for Hunger this Wednesday from 4-6 needs to sign up in the Ag room.
This Wednesday is the October FFA Meeting that all Ag Students are invited to attend. Committee meetings will start at 6:30 and the Chapter meeting will start at 7 pm. We will have Minute-to-Win it games and feel free to wear your favorite school appropriate Halloween costume.
Attention students that drive: if you drive to school and if you have changed your vehicle, please let the office know. Also, please slow down in the parking lots both before and after school. There is a lot of pedestrian activity and YOU are being watched!
Millikin University will be here for the next college visit Tuesday, 10/18 during 3rd period. Please see Ms. Clayton or Ms. Hieronymus for a pass to attend the visit before Tuesday.
Congratulations to the BRHS Marching Knights who put on a stellar performance on Saturday at Western Illinois University and received 1st Place in Class 1A and 1st Place Color Guard at their marching competition! Way to go Knights Marching Band!
TONIGHT is HS Varsity only Volleyball vs. Deland/Weldon at HOME at 5:30 and the Theme night is “Dress like Mr. Miles” night!
Wednesday 10/19 is the Parent Winter Sports meeting at 6pm at the high school.
Basketball Cheerleading tryouts will be held Monday, 10/24 from 6-8pm in the old gym and Wednesday 10/26 from 6-8pm in old gym. You are required to attend both days of tryouts.
Soccer players if you haven’t brought back your clean soccer uniforms, please bring them back to Mrs. Flannell.
