High School Yearbooks are on sale now for $50 until Feb. 24th! After that date the price will go up! See Ms. Thacker to order one.
The cheerleaders will be performing during halftime at the last boys basketball game on Tuesday 2/14. Please come out and support both the cheerleaders and basketball team!!
Monday, There will be a very brief senior class meeting in the library at the start of lunch.
Spring sports pictures will be on March 10. Times are :
3:30 G Track at practice field
3:50 B Track at practice field
4:10 softball: at softball field
4:40 baseball: at South Park
There will be a bass fishing meeting with coach Williamson next Tues, 2/14 at lunch for anyone that is interested. If you are wanting to be certified for lifeguarding or need re-certification to be a lifeguard, please call the City of Farmer City office for more information at 928-3412.
The Sadie Hawkins/Valentine’s Day Dance on Saturday, February 11th from 7-9pm. Cost of the dance is $3 singles and $5 couples.
Valentine’s Day Carnations will be delivered during 6th, 7th and 8th hours on February 14th.
The Band Talent Show will be held on Friday, February 17th at the high school. Come and see all of the talent we have in the community and have some fun! Come early for the dinner and stay for the show! The tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling the high school office!
Last night in LPC play both the varsity and jv scholastic bowl teams went 1-1 on senior night. The varsity defeated Okaw Valley by a score of 310-120 then lost a close match to Sangamon Valley by a score of 190-210 to push their overall record to 22-10 and 8-3 in the LPC. The jv also split on the evening defeating Sangamon Valley then losing a close match to Okaw Valley. Leading the varsity in toss-ups was AJ Johnson with 12 followed by Indra Nolan with 9, Alexis Wike with 3 and Addison Warsaw and Savannah Coffin with 1 each. The jv was led by Broden Soliday with 8 toss-ups followed by Ivy Whitehouse with 7. The varsity competes tomorrow morning in the LPC tourney at Cerro Gordo with departure at 7:35 am. Go knights!
