Blue Ridge School District #18 will conduct free preschool screenings on November 1 at Schneider Elementary School, 309 North John Street, Farmer City, Illinois. The developmental screening is for children who are 3 or 4 years old at the time of the screening. Children who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2021 are not eligible for the screening. Please allow up to 2 hours for the screening. We ask you not to bring other children with you since you will be asked to join us during your child’s appointment. Parents will be asked to complete an information packet and return it to the school a week before the appointment. Homecoming Parade route and details: Line up begins Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 5 p.m. in front of the high school. Parade steps off at 6 p.m. Vehicles should be facing south on John Street. Parade entry #1 (police) will line up equal with the north entrance of the circle drive in front of the high school. Parade will travel south on John Street to Route 54, turn east onto Route 54 and travel east to Main Street. At Main they will turn North and travel north to the City Square. Cheerleaders and band will perform at the Square. If there is precipitation at the time of line up the parade will be cancelled.
