BR Families, we are aware of new CDC guidance regarding optional masking and social distancing for individuals who have been fully vaccinated (two weeks after final dose). IDPH has indicated that they are working on updating guidance for IL, which would include guidance for public schools. As we have followed IDPH guidance all year, we are awaiting their continued guidance through this new development. Once received, we will review it and communicate again to let everyone know how we will proceed. All current COVID protocols remain the same until further notice.Thank you! #br_u_knighted

Last chance! Attention all remote K-11th grade Knight learners who currently use the Calvert or Courseware online learning programs! We would like to provide your child the opportunity this summer to have access to an online learning platform through Edmentum called Exact Path. This program would target Reading, Language Arts, and Math skills. It is recommended that a student spend 30 minutes per subject per week using Exact Path. This program is not for a grade and does not offer any credit, but is an excellent resource to stay up to date on skills! If your child is currently an at home K-11th grade Knight learner and you would like your child to have access to this program over the summer, please contact Paige Trimble at ptrimble@blueridge18.org or call 309.928.9141 before Wednesday, May 12th.

As a second reminder...For the 25 BRHS students who recently received the Pfizer vaccine at school, the second dose will be given on May 13 at school beginning at approximately 10:30 a.m. Students will need to provide a second consent form. These are available at school and here:https://5il.co/r1wq. The Pfizer fact sheet can be read here: https://5il.co/r1wp. Thanks to DPBCHD for making this possible! #br_u_knighted
