It has come time again for us to take a look at the district dress code for students. I want to make sure that all voices have a chance to be heard on different topics, so I'm opening up the committee to teachers and parents from any of our schools as well as students from the high school. The group will take a look at our current language in the dress code and discuss potential revisions.
We are scheduled to meet on Wednesday, March 16th at 3:30 in the conference room at the high school. Please let me know if you would like to join us. You can reach me at beaster@blueridge18.org.

Friday is the last chance to complete the 5 Essentials Survey! We want to hear your voice to improve our schools. What do we do well? What can we do better? Please participate to help us grow. To complete the survey use the following link: http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/
The survey closes March 11th.

Good Morning Knights! As an update to recent rulings on masking in IL, Governor Pritzker has lifted the mask mandate for all IL schools beginning tomorrow, February 28, 2022. We have been mask recommended since February 7, 2022 and this now makes masking optional for all IL schools.
Additionally, the CDC has dropped the mask mandate for transportation. Masking on Blue Ridge buses is now optional. Thank you. #br_u_knighted

Blue Ridge is joining the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) in the tenth statewide survey of school climate and learning conditions. The survey provides a unique opportunity for 4th-12th grade students, teachers, and parents to have a voice in improving their schools. The parent survey supplement opened on January 11, and will remain open through March 11. You may access the parent survey here: http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/. These surveys will serve as an opportunity for schools to reflect on progress since the last statewide implementation. We highly encourage all parents to make their voices heard to impact positive growth in our schools. #br_u_knighted

Congratulations to this month’s Exemplary Knights!!
